Drake Burnette Joins Identity
Kaylan Drake Burnette is an American actress and fashion model. Born in Houston, Texas, she studied art history at the University of Texas before moving to Los Angeles to pursue work in film production. Instead, she landed her first acting role as “Marfa Girl” in Larry Clark’s feature film, which was reviewed by The New York Times and noted for her distinctive sense of humor on screen.
Burnette’s modeling career began in 2013, when she was unexpectedly discovered while vacationing in Marfa, Texas. She made her runway debut at Céline’s pre-fall 2013 show and has since walked for top fashion houses including Marc Jacobs, Christopher Kane, Fendi, Marni, Missoni, Acne Studios, Stella McCartney, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermès, Burberry, and Isabel Marant.
Currently, Burnette is pursuing a master’s degree in filmmaking at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
